If you're looking for carpet, try either Sit-In Carpets "Fantasia" or or it's slightly more expensive cousin "Nexus". They are both 100% nylon velvet-pile carpets with enormous colour banks of 54 colours for Fantasia and an astonishing 100 colours in Nexus. Likewise, the "Something Special" range from Kingsmead Carpets also offers some unuusal colour options and designs; their "Wow" collection in particular has a wide range of carpets with colours ranging from vivid "Barbie" pink, and electric blue, through lemon yellow to sharp lime green.

If you want more texture, with a strong comtemporary look, we would suggest Belakos Carpets with their "Verona" and "Mirage" ranges which are frizzy and shaggy in texture respectively. and "Highline", which is a combination of the two. It is worth noting that despite their delicate and perhaps frivolous appearance these carpets have a contract quality rating!

In terms of smooth floorcoverings, for a tactile, anti-slip floorcovering in bright colours, you would be hard-pressed to find a more appropriate flooring than Rubber. Dalsouple for instance offer a palette of ..... colours in ..... different reliefs. Other brands include Polyflor Saarfloor, Altro Mondopave and The Rubber Flooring Co who whilst not offering the same range of reliefs as Dalsouple, bring the total number of colours available up to .... across all ranges.

If its colourful you're after, Linoleum, with its staggering colour range, is also a good choice. Although harder than Rubber flooring to the touch, it has the advantage of being virtually limitless in the design options that it offers. Designs can even be cut by Aquajet to your own shape/design, with a turnaround time, from the customer proofing the design to the actual installation, being around 2 weeks.
